Encrytion level different in Chrome than FF, IE, Safari, Opera

One of our customers has requested we check into why their certificate shows 256 bit encryption in FF, IE, Safari, Opera and many others but shows as 128 bit encryption in Chrome

Hi,

Please submit a ticket at https://support.comodo.com/ with order# and browser version details that will help us to serve you better.

Thanks

This is a server level configuration called a cipher. Different clients will connect on different ciphers depending on what the server is willing to negotiate on.

Connecting on 128 vs 256 is trivial and 128 is the standard at the moment. As long as one uses SSLv3/TLSv1 ONLY, then one should be fine.
