Hi,
everytime i start my vetrigo server, this is what my comodo firewall reports in right down corner of my screen
MySQLdatabase server does not work correctly. Check whether other applications use the important port (3306) and terminate them. Moreover, check firewall settings and correctness the configurtion files.
i need to enable mentioned port (3306) for the vertrigo server application. Can I enable it through my comodo firewall (ver. 5.3.174622.1216) settings? Where/how?
thanks
I will give an example how ports are added in firewall so don’t add the following port.
EXAMPLE

To open the port TCP 1723 for example
First step is to determine the MAC or Physical address of you network connector. Go to Start → Run → cmd → enter → a black box will show up and enter the following → ipconfig /all (notice the space before /all) → enter → now look up the Physical address and write it down.
Notice that Physical address = MAC address
Firewall → Network Security policy → Global Rules → Add → fill in the following:
Action: Allow
Protocol: TCP
Direction: In
Description: Incoming Port
Source address: Any
Destination Address: Choose MAC address and fill in the found MAC/Physical address
Source Port: Any
Destination Port: 1723
Then push Apply → Now make sure that the new rule is somewhere above the basic block rule(s) as the bottom (the block rules have red icons); you can drag and drop the rules → Ok
well there’s first problem - there isn’t mentioned wich physical address shoud i take into consideration, cos i have several physical addresses, such as wireless Lan or Ethernet and they are different.
Could try to see if it is TCP or UDP by first trying to see if it works with TCP and then with UDP. Erease the one that doesn’t work.
If the tip above doesn’t help try to find out the ip address of this server? Do the same what’s said in my first post and select IP instead of TCP or UDP.
if you need to add a Network zone got to CIS —> Firewall —> Stealth guide wizards —> Define a new trusted network and make my port stealth (at least the first option).
