"Empty" window, and task bar icon for cistray???

This did not happen with v5; why is there a sort of “empty window” on the desktop that is associated with the cistray.exe and a space used in the task bar, along with also the actual systray icon and of course the Widget? Here’s what I’m seeing on my W7HP installation:

Is there some way to make this disappear?

Hmm it turns-out this likely was an effect of a software package called Window Manager from DeskSoft. When I told WM to Ignore cistray (and then rebooted) the anomaly went away.

Sorry for the bandwidth but maybe this will help somebody in the future…
