Email Scanner tags?

Hello all.

This is my first post, although I have been lurking for a while.

Overall, I am quite impressed with all the Comodo firewall/AV/anti-malware products, and find the ‘mission statement’ of offering them for free to be quite compelling as well! Many kudos.

One thing I have wondered about is why there isn’t a standard notation or ‘tag’ inserted into outgoing email messages stating that it has been scanned for viruses by CAVS. I would think that this would be both good policy and an excellent way to spread the word about these products in a very unobtrusive way.

I am running all the latest stable software releases from you guys (no beta stuff), and use Thunderbird 2.0.

Any feedback/info would be welcome, and thanks again!

You have to check options to enable the signatures. Settings/Email Scan/Advanced. It’s the “Certify” option(s).

At one point, it inserted a “signature” into each email. Then it seemed something changed and it was only provided as a small text attachment.

I don’t know what it does now, to be honest, as none of my email servers use standard ports (25,110), thus rendering that part of CAVS useless to me.
