Either this is the most dangerous rogue on the planet or restart was needed

I give only one vote

It is unfortunate the tester did not reboot. He willingly missed that chance and choses to create fog…

The one file with 350+ traces is categorised by MBAM as a PUP: Potentially Unwanted Program. It boils down to taste whether one likes this toolbar or not. Lot’s of traces does not necessarily mean it is a hard to remove program technically speaking. So to categorize this as the most dangerous rogue is blowing things way out of proportion.

Without further corroboration of what is on the computer after a reboot this whole topic seems rather useless to me…

Thanks for the explaination Looks like I exterated a little :embarassed: :-
But if it wasn’t the most dangerous, What is the most by today?(please consider Security tool) :a0

What is the most dangerous Malicious Software today?..

It’s the unknown one(s)…

I mean in terms of harm to the machine not detection rate

It’s the USER.
No amount of antivirus, firewall, HIPS or sandbox can protect you from yourself.
What you do or think is the ultimate price you pay if you ■■■■■ up things.
We need to keep people informed about today’s security challenges.

Great philosophy puzzle solved ;D

The biggest security problem exists between the chair and keyboard (PEBCAK)…

smonitor problem I call it

Seat xxxxx Montior Problem

Its the problem between the seat and the monitor haha

Great. Now we know the problem.
Now let’s figure out the solution!
I vote Linux Mint :P0l :stuck_out_tongue:

Hahaha I couldn’t remember The II-IO One…

Thats pretty funny there

  1. Use CCleaner
  2. Restart
  3. And then see…

The problem here is:
All of that malware came from an installer, and comodo’s sandbox is set to automatically recognize installers.
… So, it installs all of those nasty files.

That would only be the case if the malware was digitally signed.

When it is not signed D+ will alert that unknown program asks for unlimited access.

  • on the TVL or whitelist :-TU

Only if it tries to have full access to the computer.
If I got “how Sandbox works” write.
… and he was not able to ran that software.
