During manual AV scan system keeps reading same file over and over

Using the free edition of Comodo IS and on performing a manual AV scan the system gets hung up on one particular file, scanning it over and over again until you are forced to stop it manually, leaving all subseqent files unscanned. This makes the AV scan usless.
I am running Vista 32 bit OS and the file in question is “Google Desktop Setup Helper.exe”.
Is this a bug or do I just need to reinstall Comodo IS.

In what folder can I find that file? I assume it belongs to Google’s Chrome.

Same hang on a different file today - A0312911.rbg (I think). Everything froze and had to do a manual (on/off button) shut down.

Win XP sp3.

Going to re-scan and I’ll let you know what happens. If it hangs again, I’ll add all the detail.

I have the same issue, using version 3.12.111745.560 when scanning always hang at winsxs files.
