Duplicate rules

Sometimes I get multiple alerts from the firewall about the same thing (same connection, port, adress etc.) and when I allow (or deny) them I get 2 (or sometimes more) absolutely identical rules for that app (alert level = high).

Suggestion: could you make that the purge button, that currently removes programs that are no longer on your PC from the rules list, could also delete duplicate rules (per app) from the list as well?

Is that application running from an external source like USB hard disk, USB stick, NAS, another computer on the local network or encrypted partition?

No it’s from internal NTFS drive not encrypted.

I forgot to tell there are Purge button in D+ and Firewall Application rule lists.

Can you give an example of a program that shows such behaviour? Does it get updated often?
