Duplicate Files and other issues.

I have only recently started using COMODO and I have to say that it is very good, but I do have a couple of queries…

  1. This listing that I get when running duplicate files, can I delete all of them ? is this showing only the duplicate files so the original will not be affected if I delete all these files that have been listed ?

  2. COMODO shows 3 Application Path errors everytime I run a scan on the registry but it is never deleted, if I run the scan again later in the day after having rebooted my pc, the 3 errors still show up, how can I delete these errors ?

  3. Why can’t COMODO look at all users that are registered on my home pc ? I find I have to run COMODO seperately for each user…I know my daughter, my wife and my grandson do not run these cleaners if it is left to them. It would be so much better if the scan I ran from my id also looked at their id’s.
Maybe we could be given an option to include their id’s or not.

Yeah, this would be a good addition. Cleaning all the accounts from a single account. It would be great if it CSC could switch accounts without having to manually log into another one.

why not install Comodo System Cleaner in each account then create a scheduled time for each one to run automaticly ;)

example for each account with CSC in it

  1. go to registry cleaner —> click “settings” —>Put a check mark on “run registry cleaner on” —> set the day, time and date.
Remove check mark from “use registry protection” so the computer doesn’t reboot afterwords

  2. go to disk cleaner ----> click “settings” —>Put a check mark on “run registry cleaner on” —> set the day, time and date.
Remove check mark on “use safe delete to remove files” so the computer doesn’t reboot afterwords

Now it would run automatically at a scheduled time  assuming you do it for each account. If I’m wrong somewhere, please note it

Hi,

  1. Yes, it only shows the duplicate files, and deleting all of them will leave the original files intact.

  2. Did you check “Unsafe to delete” option prior to scanning with Registry Cleaner ? Those 3 application path entries could belong to an active registry value.

  3. You can add this request to the Wishlist thread, it will be analyzed and implemented if possible.

Thank you for your support.
