I am using version 5.0.163652.10.42 I have Dragon naturally speaking selected as a safe application I am only using the firewall I have a different antivirus. I have exit programs one by one and determine that it’s the combination of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 and the comodo firewall together that caused the problem. Everything runs good until I turn the microphone on and then the system crashes and restarts. I am running XP Pro. I have stopped and restarted comodo and then reselected Dragon NaturallySpeaking as a safe program and now it seems to be working it’s

mrgmoss,

Ok thanks for taking time to reply back.

Have you tried adding it as a ‘trusted softawre vendor’?
Instructions:Start Dragon Naturally Speaking > Open CIS > Defense+ > Computer Security Policy > Trusted software vendors > Add > Running Process > Select Dragon Naturally Speaking Should be listed as natspeak.exe (I do believe)

then try using the mic?

Did this help?

it was already on the Trusted software vendors list

I’m sorry, but cannot reproduce your situation on a virtual environment due to not enough RAM

Let’s see if any other Moderator’s can help you
