I do not think nothing sinister is happening, but I mind when something what I do not know what it is, is connecting to the internet and up to it on a nonstandard port 8080, it connect again and again on the internet, after deleting it shows itself again and again, it is placed in TEMP folder, etc.
It does not seem to be very trusthfull from a company that says they do not spy anything.
When they put there something like that, they should place it in Comodo folder not to Windows TEMP and they should provide the possibility of switching off in the settings.
I surely Comodo message center have on my PC when I use CIS Pro. I do not need to have it twice there.

According to all it seems the problem will be on windows x64.
“restart_helper.exe” is used to check for new available CMC messages, it is perfectly safe and does not send user information to the server.
What we want is to make it less intrusive and not have it trigger the firewall whenever it performs checks for new messages. We would be grateful if you could provide us with the firewall versions that you are using and any firewall settings that you have set.
Hello Boris 3,
Please check two things:
Is Comodo Dragon installed as portable?
Dragon portable does not have the CMC feature.
Is the dragon_updater service running? (if Dragon is non-portable)
Then this is the reason why CMC data is not set in on your systems. The update service also creates and updates the CMC folder in Windows\Temp, so deactivating it prevents CMC from functioning.
Hello, I seem to be having the same problem as Polus with restart_helper.exe - fullscreen games and videos get minimized and lose focus for no apparent reason at random times. I also noticed that the mouse cursor is always reset to the same position when this happens. Some process history research showed that this file runs and almost instantly (in 2 seconds) terminates when this happens. Launching the file manually returns “Dragon update failed (invalid arguments)”. Although this may all be coincidental in some way, I’m hardly a PC expert to be honest.
