dragon doesn't have the cookie icon in address bar on yahoo search settings page

no sign in required.

go here: Yahoo Search Preferences

then click edit on any setting. you don’t have to change a setting, just click save then it will return you to the previous page and you will receive this message at the in small letters in yellow orange text

“We weren’t able to save your preferences because you have disabled cookies. Please enable cookies and try again.”

but there is no cookie icon in the address bar to add an exception.

my cookie settings that are enabled are:

“allow local data to be set”

“block third party cookies from being set”

Allow local data to be set (recommended) = Your preferences have been saved.

Allow local data to be set for the current session only = Your preferences have been saved.

Block sites from setting any data = We weren’t able to save your preferences because you have disabled cookies. Please enable cookies and try again.

Comodo DNS disabled does the same thing as above, so it doesn’t interfere.

Both “Block third-party cookies from being set” and “Clear cookies and other site and plug-in data when I close my browser” were checked while doing the tests.

What extensions do you use?

(Extensions used during the tests were: FlashBlock, Ghostery, AdBlock, DivX Plus Web Player HTML5

it was because of the “disconnect” extension that i have. sorry

Right right. When I install Ghostery, I allow all the Yahoo! features. So, Disconnect is pretty good, it does its job nicely.
