DoS Attacks

Hi All, most of the time I have the SPI on my hardware firewall enabled but I need to disable it if I want to watch football online via P2P.

I’ve noticed in my hardware firewall’s log that it seems to block DoS attacks frequently (or so it says) and I am a bit wary about watching football online now. If I disable SPI on my hardware firewall will Comodo block the stuff that SPI usually blocks e.g. DoS attacks.

Sorry for going round the houses folks, to put it simply is comodo a stateful firewall and if so do I need Defense+ enabled for the stateful part to work?
