When the download Web page cannot even discern between 32 and 64-bit requests. Why give a choice between them if you only download the 32-bit version regardless?

I’m not sure I follow what you mean.When you select the 64bit version in the drop down box you get the 64bit installer,or at least I did when I just tried. ???
The page to which I referred is the one that one is sent to when you respond to the installed V3 announcement that V4 is available.
I don’t suppose you have that URL do you?
