I’m fairly new to Comodo, does it on default settings block all attempts to connect to the internet and ask me to grant permission to connect like zonealarm does?
No. At default setting it would give internet access to all ‘safe’ programs. If you want to get alerts for outgoing requests for all programs please switch to ‘Custom Policy Mode’.
Right Click CIS Icon-Firewall-Custom Policy Mode
If you further want alerts for each attempt say UDP / TCP etc. you can go to
CIS-Firewall-Firewall Behaviour Settings-Alert Settings and select High or Very High.
