does clean mode ect automatically limit ie fire thunderbird oe?

or are they trusted to do what ever they want since there trusted programs?
the way i look at it a browser or email ect program should not be given trusted rights do to the fact that they or web facing apps. but there settings in comodo seem to be pretty lose.

any thoughts on this?

Very few applications are trusted to do “what ever they wan`t”. It is a fine line between to many pop-ups which some dislike and a bit of allowance, again which some dislike.
If you wish to configure Comodo tightly choose Configuration->Pro-active security/ Firewall → “Custom Policy”(alert settings High or V High) and Defence+ in “Paranoid”
