Does Boclean work just like other applications like Adware07/Spybot:s&d ?

Also, I have some other anti spyware application called SpywareBlaster which only detects spyware/malware but does not deal with anything that gets thru.Does Boclean act as a blocker and Cleaner, making having somthing like SpywareBlaster pointless ?
Iam liking the c.o.m.o.d.o firewall by the way heh… :■■■■

BOClean works quite differently from Ad-Aware or SpybotS&D, but also does SpywareBlaster, and maybe Ad-Aware and Spybot work very differently from each other but I don’t really know. But since I think you’re interested in a simple answer, BOClean won’t let anything caught execute (no matter what you do) and it will give you the option to delete the file. However BOC can’t scan your hard drive for malware that’s not yet running, since it only monitors memory.

Oh I see, so kinda like this

-Early prevention : SpywareBlaster
-Exe prevention :Comodo Boclean
-Scanner: Adaware07/AVG/Norton, etc…

BOClean is a good program… it is one of the best anti-trojan/antimalware programs there is… unlike “scanners”, scanners like “ad-aware” and spybot, BOClean runs in realtime, giving you realtime protection…

it is kind of like an antivirus program in the way that it provides realtime protection except that an av program monitors the disk while BOClean monitors memory, which is where all processes actually run… so, if any malware happens to get past your antivirus program, hopefully BOClean will catch it as it is being loaded into “memory”… it also provides some ensurance that malware is not running on your computer so that your data, like your account passwords, cannot be stolen…

spywareblaster provides “immunization” which immunizes your computer from some malware… spybot also has an “immunization” feature which is similar to spywareblaster’s immunization, where “activex-killbits” are added to the registry, “bad” websites are added to the “restricted sites zone”, and there is blocking for some “bad” cookies…

another program that you could add to your a**enal is “superantispyware”, if you want to… there is a free version of the program which you can use as a “scanner”, like “ad-aware”… SAS (superantispyware) has a reputation for being good at cleaning malware-infections… you can check out their forum, too… look in SAS’s “support” for the link to the forum… here is a link to the SAS website:

Thanks for the info…

I just had a look at the superantispyware web page, whats the most prefered application out of that and others like Adware, etc ? Or is it best to have as many of these programs as possible ? Although I would of thought that would be unessesary…
