Disk Cleaner - Safe Deletion - Restart

I ran Comodo Disk Cleaner with “Safe Deletion” activated, everything seemed to work OK. Restarted worked like normal, after a few days I tried to run Disk Cleaner again and now I get the following message:

-Comodo Disk Cleaner-
Please restart your computer in order to finish the Safe Deletion Process, so a new Scan & Clean process can take place !! ???

I have restarted several times (restart and Shutdown), but the message won’t go away and because of that I can’t run Disk Cleaner again.

Please let me know what can I do to fix this. I’m on a Windows XP Pro SP 2 computer in a Windows Domain Network.

Thank you for your help.

I have run into this on a Vista Ultimate computer when running the previous CDC verson 1.1.64941.33. I used System Restore to restore the computer to the restore point that I made before running CDC. If you didn’t have CDC make a system restore point, then pick a restore point prior to running Comodo Disk Cleaner. If the system restore is successful, your CDC Safe Delete problem should be fixed.

Hello,

Thank you for bringing this up. Problem solved already. We’ll release .35 today.

I forgot to reply to this… Yes .35 fixed the issue! I installed it and ran Disk Cleaner and the message did not show up! ;D

You guys are great! Keep up the good Work! :-TU
