Disabling Firewall

Recently I had a problem where I needed to temporarily disable the firewall for testing. I looked all through the Help section and couldn’t find how to do it. Would someone please tell me how to disable the firewall? Thanks.

Right click the systray icon and click exit. It will reload when you reboot. ;D

A better way might be by setting the “Computer Security Level” in CPF to “Allow All”.

This will turn off the firewall without exiting completely (See attached and how Windows detected that CPF is turned off).

G’day,

The best way is to do as previously suggested - do a right click on the system tray icon and select “Alow all”.

Please note that this does not disable the firewall’s stateful packet inspection engine (inspect.sys). This is still running and still working.
