Disable Thumbnail Cache in Windows 7 Home Premium

Hello there

I would like to prevent Windows from caching thumbnails (the cache reaches 100+ MB very quickly).

I am using Win7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have read these articles:

But the trick does not work at all. Any ideas? Thanks.
