Difference of Rules

Can anyone tell me the difference?

Rule 1
Application: Firefox
Parent: explorer.exe
Destination: any
Port: any
Protokoll: TCP/UDP out
Permission: Allow

Rule 2
Application: Firefox
Parent: explorer.exe
Destination: My-Router-IP
Port: 53
Protokoll: UDP out
Permission: Allow

OK I see the difference because the Rule 1 comprised in my opinion the Rule 2.
Why comodo must have the 2nd Rule?

Is their a easier way to get the rules than to write off?

The second rule is for DNS request, and it is covered by the rule 1 (general browsing). So as long as you have rule 1, you don’t need rule 2, but it doesn’t hurt. ;D

You don’t have to write the rules, you get a pop up for each application connecting to the internet. If you want to permanently allow it, just click Remember my answer, and Allow.

Sorry for my English but I think you didn’t understand what I meant?
The 1st Rule exists and comodo ask me for the 2nd rule. And exactly this is my question, why am I asked by comodo at all concerning rule 2?

Sorry for my bad English, but you also misunderstood this sentence.
I know that I can click the remember button. But I didn’t mean that.
Instead of writing it in my post, I just like to copy it.
Is that possible?

OK in this thread are 2 different questions.
First my Mainquestion now!
What I mean is easy I think!
This is the Rule comodo has alredy saved.
Rule 1
Application: Firefox
Parent: explorer.exe
Destination: any
Port: any
Protokoll: TCP/UDP out
Permission: Allow

Although Comodo has rule 1 it asks me to allow for rule 2
Rule 2
Application: Firefox
Parent: explorer.exe
Destination: My-Router-IP
Port: 53
Protokoll: UDP out
Permission: Allow

My question I repeat 3 times is:
Why does Comodo asks me for rule 2 at all?
Rule 2 is in my opinion not necessary.

Sorry for the misunderstanding ;D

I see your point now, you shouldn’t be asked for the second rule, unless you’ve set the Alert Frequency level higher than default. What is your current Alert Frequency level?

And for the second question, no, you can not copy the rule directly from the CFP. The only thing you can do (except writing it), is to take a screenshot and post it here ;D.

And your English is no worst than mine…

Thanks Bubu74

I will try it, because I had set this level to high.
But I misunderstand it although because the rule say allow to anything going out ???
