Didn't got any reply form virus reporting email.

There’re some virus or other malware didn’t detect by Comodo.
And I’ve send a sample file to the address malwaresubnit(at)avlab.comodo.com

But after that there was no reply about my email.
Did a sample will be analyse ?
Or Comodo staff are working hard for detect new virus ?

So I wish all of sample from all user will be analyse.
And I have a little wish Comodo staff will reply me about sample. (Just a little not at all.)

The Virus Lab are quite busy and don’t generally reply to submissions.

P.S. You can also submit files for analysis to http://camas.comodo.com and analysed malware will be added to the signature base.

How soon does malware analyzed by CAMAs get added to the definitions?? And what will it add? files that are rated as suspicious or does it have to be worse than that?
cheers

Thank you very musch for your help.

Now I got that AV Lab asr working very hard for detect some malware.

Keep up for good work !

The researchers aim to obviously get signatures to the database as soon as possible. I read somewhere an aim for 30 minutes was a target. However, I will point out that Comodo Internet Security / Firewall is better than that and works on a Default - DENY baisis and prevention first.

Second answer, malicious / suspicious files are further investigated to determine whether actually malicious or not before adding to the signature base. CIMA helps pre-analyse these programs to identify what it does when run.
