I was out browsing on a sight, and suddenly it stopped responding and I couldn’t surf. I tried restarting the browser, delete Firefox from Application list, restarting my modem, restarting my computer. After some struggle I could get back to the site I was at, but some other sites are inaccessible. Also the BoClean update don’t work. I’m wondering if either the BoClean server and some sites are located at a place in the world where a big cable just been cut off, or did my firewall just decide to throw dice and play with me? The easy way to check for network problems is to use “tracert -d” from a command prompt. If there is a network problem, you’ll stop getting responses to the trace at some point. If the trace makes it all the way to the remote site, then either the site itself is having some kind of problem (their server hiccuped, or some such), or your machine has a problem.
Yup, got timeout on tracert to google. Also saw at the site for my internet provider that there’s a disturbance with net access in my neighbourhood. Sorry for the alarm. (:SHY)
