Hi
I have just seen that I have two anti-virus progs running. Avast and Comodo defense+
I understand that having two anti-virus progs will slow my computer down so I would like to turn Defense+ off but cannot find where to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
If I do this will Comodo firewall still protect my computer
I am using Comodo free version 8.4.0.5076

Defense+ is the name of Comodo’s HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System). It is NOT an antivirus. It can be disabled by clicking on HIPS in the main CIS status window and de-selecting the “Enable HIPS” checkbox. You PC will still be protected by the firewall, but you will be losing a significant amount of additional protection if you do this. I and many other CIS users have Defense+ enabled while running an antivirus program.
