When ı open defense+ module, gomplayer not working, no display anything, when ı click a .avi file gomplayer open but no display, when ı disable defense+ gomplayer working, ı suppose when defense+ alert ı click block something but ı cant found, help pls.

just go into defense+ - advanced - computer security policy
and delete the GOM Player entry you might also want to delete the
GOM entry from the Firewall - Advanced - Network security policy.
Next time you run it, it will pester you for new blocks or allows and
should work ok.

Try the new version GOM v2.1.18.4762 out 9 June 2009,
this version seems a little less troublesome and plays WMV’s
that previous versions had trouble with (codec).
Uninstall GOM, Reboot, Purge and apply in both
Network Security Policy and Computer Security Policy,
Install GOM and when pestered just select
“Treat this as an Installer” (or whatever it’s called).
GOM does seem to wanna access the internet at it’s
whim but seems harmless.
A)
When Grlauncher.exe asks for access to internet, set Defense+ status to ‘always block’
B)
In GOM Player, Go to Preferences>General>Update, and tick off ‘automatic update’.
Will not bother you for net access again.
{Unless you click ‘Find codecs’ when its unable to play a file}
PS: I personally finds it plays a lot many files, if following also are installed: K-Lite Codec pack , and Real Alternative.
At fartypants. Don’t make a regular program Installer; instead make it Trusted.
