I have Comodo Firewall 3 (firewall only) and Spyware Terminator for its HIPS and real-time protection. If I activate Defense+, does it completely replace Spyware Terminator or does it lack some of its features?
HIPS - Host Intrusion Prevention System, or HIPS, protects a computer from execution of undefined threats that can infiltrate your system though any of a host of security holes.
It just asks if you want to run executables or not?
Comodo Firewall Pro 3 got loads of more protection features. Comodo Firewall Pro 3 will do more than replacing, it’ll add more protection.

I’ve used both and I assure you that there are no features which ST’s HIPS has and CFP’s hasn’t, and there are tons of features in CFP’s that ST’s hasn’t. ST’s HIPS is very very basic and D+ is kind of advanced, and yet it shouldn’t cause more alerts in the default setting, maybe even less. However you may want to wait for a couple of updates for CFP 3 until some bugs are ironed out… Or you can just make a system restore point and install it, it works for 90+ per cent of people.
