Defense+ slows down Sage-financials 2008

Hi,

  • The version of Comodo Firewall Pro Installed

  • V3

  • Your Internet connection type (dial-up/cable/Direct connection/LAN etc)

  • DSL

  • Operating system and Service Pack Level

  • XP SP2

  • How you are logging in to the OS (Admin, User)

  • Admin

  • Other real-time security applications installed (AV, AS, HIPS etc)

  • AVG Anti Virus

  • Security related applications which have been removed/disabled before installing CFP.

  • Sygate firewall

  • Please inform us if you have created any custom rules.

  • None

  • Detail the problem, such as which applications are running when you have the problem.

  • Sage 50 financials 2008 takes a long while to open files. The program does not run slowly the computers are running fine. When I disable the defense plus feature it runs fine.

Sage accesses mainly .DTA files.

Is it possible to add these files or the program to an exclusion list or similar?

Any advice?
