can i not install defense +
or if it installs automatically, can i completely disable it?

Currently, you can’t not install D+. However, you can disable it after installation by checking the Deactivate the Defense+ permanently option in Defense+ Settings.
Method:
Defense+ → Advanced → Defense+ Settings → Check Deactivate the Defense+ permanently → Click Apply
Reboot.
