I keep getting prompted to allow the same application to create a new file, access the registry, or access COM. I click Allow with “Remember my decision” checked, but Comodo keeps asking for the same permission over and over.
This is probably caused by frequent changes of the file. Go to Defense+ → Computer Security Policy → Add → browse to the Application Path and Use a Predefined Policy: Installer or Updater.
Also, I’m curious of the filename / program that is doing this?

It happens with many programs, but the latest was Microsoft Security Essentials. The issue is not that Comodo forgets that I allowed a privilege, but that each individual registry key, or directory requires permisssion. What’s needed is the ability to allow all registry access or all file access with one click. Also a single button for allow once would be nice so you don’t have to click block or allow, then check or uncheck “Remember my decision”, then Allow or Cancel–that’s much more work than necessary. Look at Outpost for an example of a simple clean GUI. I like Comodo for it’s power, but making the GUI more efficient would be a very welcome improvement.
Since updating to version 5.3.176757.1236 I am having the same very irritating problems with continuous requests - every few seconds - to allow the connection when the box is ticked to remember.
Navigating to :-
Go to Defense+ → Computer Security Policy → Add → browse to the Application Path and Use a Predefined Policy: Installer or Updater.
The response was that this “entry already exists”.
If Comodo continues like this it is basically unusable.
Comodo continually requests permission for sites tagged for permission. Hopeless.
Similar problem with Comodo continually trying to connect to the internet even though “Remember my answer” is ticked. Not user friendly and getting these message every few seconds renders Comodo useless.
How do you have CIS configured?
Thanks for the reply.
Settings as advised on :-
Until I downloaded the latest update these settings were working OK.
Now, nothing but repeated requests to allow access to the internet.
Are you referring to any specific settings?
