How do I remove items (Applications) from Defense+ Events which should not be there? The are being blocked.

Anything listed in your D+ events is due to your D+ policy settings.
“avast.setup” and “svchost.exe” should be set to “Installer or Updater” in D+.
“ashServe” can be set to “Trusted application”.
Also, those BOClean events are normal activity. You can safely ignore them.

Go to Defense+ > Advanced > Computer Security Policy. You can edit all of your D+ policies here.

Firewall
Firewall(2)
Is this normal?
And in Add or Remove Programs there is
COMODO Firewall Pro, but nothing for COMODO Internet Security.
Did you update CFP to CIS via the built in updater? If so, that may be the case.
The correct path for a fresh CIS install should be:
C[or any other drive letter]:\program files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security
If everything is running fine, I guess it’s okay to leave. You could also wait until v.3.9 is released and do a fresh install then, or just reinstall this current version (just remember to export your settings before doing so.
