Hi, I have been using comodo IS for some time now with no problems. However when Defense+ is enabled the game demigod will not load, there is no message from defense+ at all, nor does defense+ list any blocked actions. The game simply will not load. Disabling defense+ allows the game to load. I would rather not run without defense+, is there any chance of a resolution to this problem? Below are the crash details:-

This is a widespread problem, so much so that it is a stickied topic in the game’s forums.
My Comodo version is 3.8.65951.477 and I’m assuming I have the x64 version since I’m running 64 bit Vista.

Vista x64 SP1

When Comodo D+ is running and I try to start Demigod, almost instantly a Windows error message pops up saying ‘Demigod Application has stopped working: Windows is checking for a solution…’. The odd thing is that in 1/10 or 1/15 tries the game will start normally when I’ve changed nothing, usually after trying to start it a few times and having it crash. It doesn’t matter what D+ is set to, on training and even disabled the game fails to start.
Deactivating D+ permanently from the D+ settings and then restarting will allow the game to run, which is the known workaround suggested from the game’s forums.
Firewall is on Safe, and I’ve tried D+ on Safe, Clean PC, Training, and Disabled and the game continues to fail. I’ve also tried unchecking every option in the D+ Monitor Settings, but the program still crashes. (I have changed them back)
My computer does not crash, the only effect is the Windows ‘Demigod stopped responding window’ appears.
I am on a limited account, but both using UAC to elevate Demigod to admin, and logging into the admin account to try to run the game do not work.
Here is one of the Windows error reports:

Try deleting the rules for Demigod under Computer Security Policy before setting D+ to Training mode. Also try adding all the .exe files in the Demigod folders ti My Own Safe files.
Can you show us the logs of D+? Sometimes they may give us a clue.
I deleted the rules for Demigod in the computer security policy, set it to training mode, but it still crashed. It also continues to crash with the demigod directory files, including subfolders, are in the safe files list.
If by logs you mean View Defense+ Events, the only things in it in the past few days are the record of me changing the D+ mode.
Edit: I also noticed I do not have to restart my entire computer after deactivating D+ to run Demigod. Just going into the options, checking Deactivate Defense+, applying and saying No to restarting and then starting Demigod will allow it to run.
Edit2: Just now when I tried to start Demigod with D+ enabled, a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library window popped up. It said:
"Runtime Error!
Program: C:…
R6016
not enough space for thread data"
Could that be related to Comodo, or is that just a normal crash I should report to the developer?
Edit3: Also, a popup bubble appears from the system tray once in a while after Demigod fails to start, saying that Data Execution Prevention has closed Demigod Application or somesuch. I have added the Demigod .exe to the DEP exclusion list, but it still crashes. I tried adding the rest of the executables in the Demigod folder to the list, but one of them, DemigodStub cannot have DEP turned off. I’m not sure if this is relevant, but I know more information is better than less.
I don’t have DemiGod, but all the games I do have will function after I set D+ (and sometime Firewall) to Training mode, play the game and then after exiting the game reset D+ and firewall to their original setting (I use Safe mode).
