Defense+ blocking key component of Asus Security Protect

Defense+ keeps blocking “asghost.exe” which is an integral part of ASUS Security Protect Manager.

I have added the base folder c:\Program Files\Asus Security Center" to the “My Own Safe Files” list, but nothing changes.

How can I prevent Defense+ from blocking this action.

OS : Vista Home Premium

Other installed Programs :
Avast Antivirus
Asus Live Update
Asus Security Protect Manager

Could you please post a screenshot of the blocked logs for Asus Security Center.
From your post it sounds like blocked memory.

Defense+>Advance>Computer Security Policy > asghost.exe > Edit
Change It To Trusted Application
