Defense + and Avira 2012

Hi there!
I know there is many articles about this and I read many of them.
The thing is: I have comodo firewall and the new Avira 2012 antivirus.
The avira shows that comodo firewall might have conflict with it. I went to avira’s forum and saw that avira problem should be the comodo’s defense +. Finally my question is:

How can I use comodo firewall and Avira antivirus together without any conflict problem? Should I deactivate defense +? Would I be vulnerable if I do that? And Should I complement my protection with another software?

You do not need to disable D+. It will be great having it.

I am using Avira IS 2012 without the firewall with CIS ver5.9 with D+. No conflict whatsoever here. I place exclusions in Avira 2012 for C:\Program Files\Comodo and C:\Program Data\Comodo.

Likewise I place running process’ of Avira in Comodo as Trusted both in D+ and in Firewall (or you can place C:\Program Files\Avira and C:\Program Data\Avira in D+ Trusted files --usually it is already whitelisted as safe file but I do place such exclusions for both).
