D+ Events shows the (trusted) IObit SmartDfrg at every program launch [RESOLVED]

The bug/issue

  1. What you did: I installed and started up the IObit Smart Defrag.
  2. What actually happened or you actually saw: D+ Events shows the (trusted) IObit Smart Defrag at every program launch.
  3. What you expected to happen or see: No D+ alert, the event is only visible
    in the D+ Events.
  4. How you tried to fix it & what happened: “Block all unknown requests…” is disabled (checkbox is empty). All exceptions added manually to the IObit Smart Defrag.
  5. Details (exact version) of any software involved with download link:

Your set-up

  1. CIS version & configuration used: 5.0.x.1135, Internet Security config.
  2. Whether you imported a configuration, if so from what version: Not imported.
  3. Defense+ and Sandbox OR Firewall security level: D+=safe, FW=safe, Sandbox=enabled, AV=stateful.
  4. OS version, service pack, no of bits, UAC setting, & account type: Windows XP, SP3, 32 bit, N/A, Admin account.
  5. Other security and utility software running: No other security softwares.
  6. CIS AV database version: Not applicable.

This is because IOBit is trying to access the memory regions of Comodo Protected memory.
If you trust IOBit you can add the executable to the allowed list for memory access.

D+ Computer Security Policy, Find the “Comodo Group”, Customize, Protection Settings, Interprocess Memory Access, Modify, Add, Running Process

And then select the IOBit executable, now Apply etc and those alerts should be history.
