Custom mode FW does not create ap rules if remember is ticked on alert [~] [v6]

I am not sure if this has already been posted here. It has been posted in the Firewall Help forum.

Under the Proactive Security Config - When I set the Firewall to Custom Ruleset. Application Rules windows is not listing my allowed/blocked programs. I did check the Remember box and the bottom. It seems to be remember the choice…it does not ask again, just not show the list.

This problem does not occur under the Firewall configuration, the programs are listed in the window. I have not tried the Internet Security configuration. I decided to use the Firewall configuration and change all the options/settings to match the Proactive config. I figured this way, I can have Proactive security with the application window that works.

I did a clean install…I used Revo Uninstaller with advance setting to remove previous version, Reboot, and installed CIS. I did NOT install AV component, GeekBuddy, or Dragon. I just installed the Firewall with D+. I am running Vista OS. I hope this is enough info. If you need more, let me know. Thanks.

We would very much appreciate it if you would fill in an issue report in standard format

That way it is more likely to get picked up by QA, and they will have better info to replicate and fix it.

Thanks very much for your issue report. We have moved it to the non-format bugs board for the moment, because too much of the information we normally need to replicate a problem and fix it is missing, or it is not in the format we request.

We realize some people may not have the time to do bug report in standard format, and therefore offer the option of a non-format report instead. But the problem is much more likely to be fixed promptly if you edit your first post to create an issue report which meets all criteria in the Checklist and Format. (You can copy and paste the format from this topic). The general reasons why are summarized in that post, the reasons we ask for specific pieces of information are given in this detailed post.

You can get your report moved to the format verified issues board simply by ensuring that it is correctly formatted and all criteria are met, and PM’ing a mod who is active on the bug board.

Sorry about that. I will try to remember that for future bug requests. It seems to be working now. I can’t reproduce the problem. I am not sure what I did to fix it.
