I recently installed Comodo Backup 3 on my Win 7 64bit Pro machine and tried to set up a job to backup a few folders on different drives in the PC, they are meant to be saved to a third drive in zip format. As far as I can tell everything is set up correctly but when the time comes to do the job I simply get: “An error occured during the backup process” and no info in the event log except for “Backup Started”. After having a look through the forum to no avail, I decided to follow instructions in another thread for creating a debug file.
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
Edit: (Altough this is meant to be a weekly scheduled backup, the debug process would’ve only shown me trying to start the job manually, giving the same error.)

This problem was reported a few times, but we didn’t find a way to reproduce this (yet).
Debug.cbu only shows that the schedule job failed with code 2, so it doesn’t help much.
Can you please export the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComodoGroup\ComodoBackup\ScheduleList . This stores information about scheduled backups.
You can post the file here or email it to me.
Emailed the file you requested, cheers!
Thank you for emailing the requested registry key.
The problem is with editing scheduled backup after they were created.
This will be fixed in an update (a bugfixer).
To avoid this issue you can either recreate the schedule job or edit it and set some dummy information for email notification info (smtp server and to fields)
This issue will occur on all schedule jobs that are edited and don’t have any informations set on smtp server and to fields.
