CTM shows low free space error....

I restored to an older snapshot using CTM today, after restart, CTM pops up an error message saying something about low free space, but my HDD has 70GB of free space, so why is that a problem??

I can’t defrag the snapshots either because it shows the same message, and i can’t seem to take a newer snapshot.

In the settings, i can’t find any option to define how big a size a snapshot should be, and that it should save to my hardrive and not some virtual space (i’m just guessing).

I’m only using one hardrive btw.

And where do all the snapshots save to?? I want to make a backup of them but can’t find any information on the directory they’re saved at…

lastly, is there a way we can make CTM save a snapshot after every shutdown?? There is only an option to save snapshot after every restart…

bump…come on guys, no support?? I realized there are so many topics without replies, I love Comodo products but the support is really lacking…

yah yah i have same problem … my hdd has lot of free space… i was remove snapshots and try to defrag it shows Low disk space… were is support ??? we need you ))

chaoscreater i fix the trouble )))

  1. rebot comp.
  2. go to COMODO boot menu by pressing HOME key
  3. press COMPACT button then remove old snapshots, press ok and enjoy defrag progress )))
now you have lot of free space for ctm )))

notice:
don’t make lotof snapshots coz ctm have limited space … i recomend you make Scheduled task = hourly snapshot…

and in settings make

  1. Delete unlocked “ALL” snapshots of = 1 days old
  2. Defrag snapshots bla bla bla after deleting = 2 snapshots
  3. Defrag snapshots bla bla bla after taking = 2 snapshots
after all this operation everything will be okay …

sorry for my poor english … i think you got my idea…

thanks man, at least you’re helpful

i know those options and methods you suggested, but i like to keep snapshots of a wide range of dates in case i install something bad, then i can restore back to a few days ago. If i only keep snapshots of only VERY recent dates, or in fact take hourly snapshots, then i won’t be able to restore back to maybe last week or 2 days ago, say if my PC got hacked or has viruses and i found out too late, then all the snapshots i’ve had would’ve been infected too.

This happened to me be4 so i can’t just make regular snapshots and replace the old ones, it’s not safe…
