I concur! I updated last night and still no mention of any changes. ???
ha ha!!
so is it just an update to fix bugs.
Probably just bug fixes! With the different Operating systems out there, and the programs that aren’t compatible with CSC yet, it might be awhile before they can say they are finished. When they do get it fully functional, it will be the best one of it’s kind out there. Just my 2¢’s worth.
I updated to the .33 version via the program update feature. I was curious to see if it solved the CDC Safe Delete function problem that I have been having ever since it was included in CDC. It did not! When I clicked Finalize after rebooting, the computer immediately started rebooting again, instead of finalizing the cleaning operation. I had to do a system restore again to keep the computer from being stuck in the endless rebooting cycle.
Hi,
We’ve tried to reproduce the error you reported above, without reaching the same result as you did, meaning CDC performed properly. Please give more details about your installed programs.
Thank you for your support.
What is interesting is that we have two desktop computers, both running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1, both Dell Dimension 9200s, both with an Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 processor, both have the same exact hardware, and nearly the same exact software, with the exception of one or two programs, installed. The exact same security software is installed on both computers - CIS, BOClean, Spyware Blaster, and free versions of Super AntiSpyware and Malwarebytes AntiMalware. The Vista sidebar is activated on both computers. UAC is activated on both computers.
This problem exists on my computer, but the problem on my wife’s is a little bit different. After running CDC using the Safe Delete function, her computer stops rebooting (freezes) just before it gets to the logon screen. Then after shutting it down and booting up again, it completes the reboot and the CDC Safe Delete function pops up and finishes after clicking the Finalize button. My computer boots up all the way and the Safe Delete function pops up, but instead of finishing after clicking the Finalize button, it immediately starts rebooting again. I will be glad to furnish more detailed information about the installed programs on my computer, but I am not sure what the best way to provide that information is. Also, since the software configuration is so similar on both computers, I don’t know that is what is causing this problem.
My wife also has a Dell Inspiron laptop with an Intel Core 2 Duo 7200 processor running Windows Vista Business that has nearly the same exact software, with the exception of one or two programs. All the exact same security software is installed on it, also - CIS, BOClean, Spyware Blaster, and free versions of Super AntiSpyware and Malwarebytes AntiMalware. There are no CDC with Safe Delete function problems on this computer. Safe Delete functions exactly like it is supposed to. These Safe Delete function problems involve only our Windows Vista Ultimate desktop computers.
Hi,
We installed all the software products you specified ( CIS, BOClean, Spyware Blaster, and free versions of Super AntiSpyware and Malwarebytes AntiMalware ) with Vista sidebar and UAC enabled, within a Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit operating system.
Can you please provide us more details regarding the operating system ( whether it’s clean or modified/nlited ), drivers used ( dell’s drivers or components’ manufacturer driver ) or other software or settings that you may have modified, that conflicts with CDC functionality.
Thank you for your support.
Operating system is clean, no modifications. Drivers are Dell drivers that came installed on the computer, or have been updated via the Dell site for the particular computer model. Disk defragmenter is PerfectDisk 10. All installed programs pretty much use default settings, with the exception of CIS. Comodo Internet Security has Defense+ \ Advanced \ Predefined Security Policies \ Trusted Application \ Protection Settings all set to default ‘No’. Predefined Security Policies \ Windows System Application \ Protection Settings are all set to ‘Yes’, except Windows/WinEvent Hooks is set to ‘No’. Predefined Security Policies \ Isolated Application \ Protection Settings are all set to ‘Yes’. Predefined Security Policies \ Limited Application \ Protection Settings are all set to ‘Yes’. CIS Defense+ Advanced Predefined Security Policies settings are set exactly the same on all 3 computers.
A screenshot of the Start Menu is attached. It lists all the programs on the Vista Ultimate SP1 desktop computer that reboots immediately when the Finalize button is clicked using CDC Safe Delete. The other Vista Ultimate SP1 desktop computer Start Menu program list will be almost exactly like the first one, with the exception of 1 or 2 programs. If you have any questions about what programs are actually in any of the Start Menu folders, I will be glad to let you know. For example, 2nd Story Software is the TaxAct program. Comptons is the Complete Multimedia King James Bible. Games is just the basic games that come with Windows Vista, except for an old Windows 3.1 set of games in Microsoft’s Windows Entertainment Pack. Key FormDesigner Plus is an old Windows 3.1 forms program that is on all the computers, but it doesn’t even show up on the Programs and Features list in Control Panel. It installs directly on the C:\ drive, rather than under Program Files.
We also have an old Sony laptop running Windows XP SP3 that this CDC Safe Delete function problem does not occur on. Once again, it only occurs on our Vista Ultimate SP1 desktops, and the CDC Safe Delete problem is not exactly the same on each of them.

Hello,
Please give me private message with the .txt files in System Cleaner directory when this happen. Also, check if any security application is blocking CNAT.EXE, CRPF.SYS and CSDF.SYS files.
