I have version 1.1.64945.37 installed and wanted to update to the latest version.
CSC correctly informs me that there is a new update.
After selecting “Update” the download process starts and also the installation.
Everything seems ok but after restarting I still have the old version.
I can repeat the process as often as I want. The updated always successfully ends but no new version is installed.
Anyone else experiencing this?

okay, I know now what happened.
The version I was updating from was the portable one (v1.1.64945.37).
The updater didn’t update the portable folder, instead he used the %program files% path.
It shouldn’t happen though.
You can’t update the portable version, the update function is meant only for the installed one, like in any other software’s case ( utilities, games or any kind of software can’t update to the last version if they aren’t installed ). The instruction of the update function in general is to find the installed version through the registry and replace it with the latest one. So that’s why CSC installs into Program Files, that’s it’s destination depending on the operating system.
