CrossLoop remote access application

I have just learned about a freeware application called CrossLoop. This is basically a shell wrapped around the TightVNC application. This looks like a rather neat (and inexpensive) way me to connect to my daughter’s computer as her tech support person. CrossLoop uses a proprietary VPN with their own server(s) sitting between the two connected ones; they say it does not need configuring of any router in the chain, but they do not mention software firewalls, either. I am very happily using CFP and will continue to do so; daughter uses ZA Free (it is less intrusive for her, a very nontechie person).

I wonder if anyone has tried this CrossLoop software with CFP and what issues they may have encountered, if any).

Another member had tried it but he had to open a port in CFP.
