I was downloading some updates through windows update (the automatic updater, not the website) and Defense+ asked me if ‘update.exe’ could modify a protected file (the new file it was downloading)
Out of interest I clicked on the Update.exe to see what it was and nothing happened, then a while later I got an error
“Comodo firewall pro has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience”
There was no information at all except for that message.
I had to click close 3 times before CPF finally exited. Then I restarted it straight away.
I checked system log and got only this (3 times):
