CPF Component Monitor Question.

I’m planning to come back to Comodo upon the new release tomorrow. My question is do I have to have the Component Monitor turned to On or Learning Mode all the time? My wife hates having to acknowledge lots of pop-ups and wondering if I have the Component Monitor turned off will it still gather the information about the Components? When I turn it back on will it remember the components already detected? Just trying to minimalize Comodo Popups when she’s using the computer.

Hi,

Is the following post any help?:

That’s quite helpful thanks… As I’m coming back to Comodo, I might do it at the weekend that way I can sit there and go through all the popups for all the programs on our laptop… thanks for your help.

One question though… Does CPF still record the Components used when the Component Monitor is turned off?

Sorry… getting complicated now, I know…

Eric

Hi,

I’m not sure about that, but I think if component monitor is off CPF will bypass this check and only perform the application, network and behaviour analysis checks so components won’t be recorded.

Ok thanks for your help…

You’re welcome.
