Couple of things I've never understood/2.4-1)component rules 2)UDP-53 log/router

As long as I’m on my drive with 2.4 installed, 1) Are there any component rules that should be blocked or that you would want to block? 2) If you have a router all your DNS requests go (and are logged) to your routers IP, instead of your DNS server’s IP. So if you set your router manually and it’s DNS is hacked, you’re ■■■■■■■, and if you use DHCP, and it’s somehow hacked, you’re also ■■■■■■■. As far as DNS goes, is it better to use a hardware FW router with 2.4 or is it better to drop the HW-FW/router and just use 2.4 as your FW? (lets say for 1 computer which is not realistic but for this ?) Also, for home users and not at a ridiculous price, what wired hardware FW/router at a decent price is the best for security? (if there is one)
