Could not load shockwave flash

Hello dear CD,

I have such trouble in my CD:

When i open some video file on Facebook or somewhere there appears pop up panel upper side CD ,could not load shockwave flash" and impossible to play.

Please help me . what should i do?

Does Flash work everywhere else except on Facebook?

Some things to try.

  1. Try with ‘Do not allow websites to know where you came from (suppress HTTP Referrer header)’ disabled, found under privacy in Dragon’s advanced settings.
  2. Try disabling extensions including PrivDog.
  3. There have been some issues in recent times with Dragon and Adobe Flash.
    Using ‘PepperFlash’ from Chrome solves these issues.

I have that issue on that notebook only. I installed CD to another PC and there is not same trouble about flash.

Hi IONx64,
Do both systems have a similar setup and installed programs?
Have you tried clearing the browsing data on the system with the issue?

Sorry I am running out of suggestions, other than ‘PepperFlash’.
I understand this could be annoying, when one system works fine and the other doesn’t. :-\

Is installing a flash player on CD safe?

When i watch videos it requires a flash player too.

Hi IONx64,
The ‘Flash Plug-in’ is no more or less secure with CD than any other browser.
Using ‘PepperFlash’ does appear to be preferred version.
You can set plug-ins to ‘Click to play’ in preference to running automatically if desired.
