    Every time.
  • If U can, exact steps to reproduce. If not, exactly what U did & what happened:
1:Start Comodo Dragon, Ice Dragon, or Firefox as sandboxed FV. For CD, for this example, start either by starting the virtual mode inside CD menu or via Comodo Firewall Sandbox menu after a sandbox reset. The effect is the same.
2:Adobe Flash Player(Latest version) plugin fails to load randomly in websites with flash content and Comodo Dragon, Ice Dragon, or Firefox gives a message ‘Could not load Shockwave Flash’, the video either crashes or won’t open full screen if it plays or gives me the plugin is missing error).
  • If not obvious, what U expected to happen:
Adobe Flash Player plugin loading properly
  • If a software compatibility problem have U tried the conflict FAQ?:
    NA
  • Any software except CIS/OS involved? If so - name, & exact version:

  • Any other information, eg your guess at the cause, how U tried to fix it etc:

I tried disabling extensions, resetting the browser and sandbox, and uninstalling and reinstalling Comodo Firewall. I formatted my pc with all the latest updates and no other software except Comodo Firewall. None of this helped.

Is this problem specific to Comodo Dragon? If not, please list all browsers on your system which it happens for.

Thanks.

Firefox. The browser freezes if there is flash content.

Does it happen for Ice Dragon as well?

I can see the green border around Ice Dragon when run sandboxed but when I go to Youtube.com, the browser just froze.

In that case please make a Full Dump when Comodo Dragon is frozen on youtube. Then upload it to a file sharing site and paste the download link.

Let me know if you have any questions, or when this is done.

Thanks.

Done

Updated the first post to reflect it.

Thanks again.

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

Many thanks again.

Not fixed as well.

Thank you for checking this. I have updated the tracker.

The devs have not marked this as Fixed in the tracker. However, sometimes bugs are fixed by the release of new versions, but not marked as Fixed in the tracker.

If you are able please check with the newest version (CIS version 8.0.0.4337) and let me know if this is fixed on your computer with that version.

Thank you.

I’ve updated tracker data:

  • Linked Bug 1066 with Bug 959 ;
  • Marked as ‘not fixed’ in version <8.0.0.4337>.

Thanks.

Hello,

The devs have not marked this as Fixed in the tracker. However, sometimes bugs are fixed by the release of new versions, but not marked as Fixed in the tracker.

If you are able please check with the newest version (CIS version 8.1.0.4426) and let me know if this is fixed on your computer with that version.

Thank you.

Not fixed.

Thanks for letting me know. I have updated the tracker.

Fixed in 8.2.0.4703 as I can use shockwave and flash plugins on sites that use these plugins when any browser is ran fully virtualized.

It’s related to Nvidia GPU driver. Thus, you should check with one from list : (Possible) Affected products:>>> GeForce 800M Series (Notebooks):> GeFor - Pastebin.com

Hope it helps.

Should be fixed with version 10. Please PM if not fixed.

Thanks.
