Correct site to download Comodo System Cleaner

Which is the correct site for downloading Comodo System Cleaner?

There is one at Download Antivirus for Mac | Free Antivirus Software for Mac which gives a 9.51 MB file, CSC_SETUP_2.0.110158.6_xp_vista_server2003_win7.exe and a 4.5MB portable version

There is another site, http://system-cleaner.comodo.com/download.html which has a 19.0 MB file, CSC_SETUP_2.0.107697.4_xp_vista_server2003_win7.exe and a 14.2MB portable version

While both have different versions, the file-size of the downloads at the 2nd site is double the first.

Hello,

The first link is the correct one (we are still running some analyses for the old website) but for the latest release of COMODO System Cleaner use the download link posted on our forum:
http://download.comodo.com/csc/download/setups/CSC_SETUP_2.0.111095.7_xp_vista_server2003_win7.exe
The difference in size for the two versions comes from the fact that starting with version .5 the help file is not inbuilt anymore. The help manual is available online.

Just make sure you check for updates after the Installation of CSC.

How do I do that please.

All I could find was
CSC_SETUP_2.0.110158.6_xp_vista_server2003_win7.exe 9,977,384 bytes
CSC_SETUP_2.0.110158.6_xp_vista_server2003_win7_32bit.zip 4,724,443 bytes

I saw no evidence of 2.0.111095.7 - please give a link.

I much prefer a Portable version, but there is a very nasty defect in version
CSC_SETUP_2.0.110158.6_xp_vista_server2003_win7_32bit.zip
It seems to be portable when being unzipped,
but if I click on the button to update then it starts installing something,
presumably the NON-portable version of 2.0.111095.7

I currently have 2.0.111095.7 installed. I checked for updates afew days ago its said there was one but when I went to download, nothing happened?

Hi,

CSC 2.1 had some changes in the Update component and that’s way it cannot properly update. Because of this, we recommend you to uninstall the current version of CSC and clean install the latest one. And please make sure you manually delete all leftovers of CSC 2.0 before uninstalling the new one.

The update will no longer be an issue starting with the next release.

This is the version that I had that would not update. I was advised to download from here

Which I did and it works.

Please confirm correct download site for CSC.

That was the direct link download to the latest version of COMODO System Cleaner at that time.

The link that should be accessed whenever you want to download the latest CSC is: Download Antivirus for Mac | Free Antivirus Software for Mac.
