on CD - Options - Under the hood -

there is “Background Apps Continue running background apps when Comodo Dragon is closed”

What exactly does it mean?

What background applications are supposed to run when CD has been closed?

When we close CD leaving some such running applications, how do we see the list of such running applications and how do we close them then?

It is in regards to applications downloaded from the Chrome store, such as calendar notifications or incoming chat messages.
