Hello I have reworked an old XP machine and have now installed Comodo Premium free twice and now cannot get more than 25% through a scan before the machine roboots.
I did get a message the first time re something that needed fixing and it “apparently” did it for me me but it still stalled.
Now on second install and wondering what on earth it could be or what is happening?
Please make sure that there are no left overs of previously uninstalled security programs around. Not all uninstallers do a proper job. And left over applications, drivers or services can cause all sort of “interesting effects”.
Try using removal tools for those programs to remove them. Here is a list of removal tools for common av programs: ESET Knowledgebase .
