Connections - Unusual?

Thanks in advance for any opinions.

A pop-up alerted me to Svchost wanting to connect to an IP address that I hadn’t seen before. The IP address led to Akamai Technology and while I perused their site I’m unable to determine why svchost would want to connect. I denied it but am puzzled. The ip address is 69.45.79.9

Any thoughts?

The details about Akamai. So, it could be quite a few things.

Wow-that’s pretty extensive. I guess I’ll just monitor it.

In deed. Also when I was using ZAP (Zone Alarm Pro) a few months back, I think that was also using Akamai.

I also used Zone Alarm prior to CPF. Again I appreciate the information and if I figure it out I’ll let you know.
