i went to Test my PC security and downloaded all the files…
now i assume that i should decompress them into a folder
and then run each exe?
some of them are opening a dos window … and i have no idea what happened next…
CPIL Test Suite… i entered … hello as the text…
it opened IE and then

which means that this test failed…
hmmmmm
i think that i might be doing something wrong…
i have Boclean installed and it quickly killed the first test…
also Avira free… notified me that many of those tests had trojans
how should i run these tests correctly?
i tried to read for any directions how to use those tests
but i cannot find any…
usually … or i should say almost all the time CFP
(by the way does CIS have a different name for the firewall?)
will alert me to when a net connection is being made…
i am used to viewing this …

confused… and i do not think i am a neophyte either…
