Configuration Import and registry key change with installation of Firewall

With the newest version of Comodo Firewall, a user cannot import a configuration file (.cfgx) or remove it. (General Settings/Configuration).

So if something happens to a person’s settings, they will not be able to import the file and fix it, instead one would likely have to uninstall, reinstall an earlier version of Comodo.

Message: ‘You cannot remove active configuration’.

I used to be able to import the configuration with an earlier version without that message.

Also the installation changes the registry key (LoadAppInit_DLLs) below from 0 to 1 which prevents some other software from running. I have to change it back to 0 to get the other program to work.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\LoadAppInit_DLLs

You have to activate a different Config and then you can remove, export or import the one of your choice. You can never do it with the Config that is active and that you are using at the time

Well that worked. Thanks!
